On the June 18 Catholic Forum, tune-in to hear an interview with our sister, Sr. Diane Tomkinson, and learn about her work with young adult Catholics as charism engagement minister.  Catholic Forum is a production of the Office of Communications of the Diocese of Wilmington.  Sr. Diane lives in a local community of our sisters in Wilmington, Delaware. (near St. Anthony of Padua parish and St. Francis Hospital). Our sisters have a rich history in the diocese, serving in various ministries in and around Wilmington for well over a century.

Laudato Si Action Plan

The Sisters of St Francis of Philadelphia and our companions have responded to Pope Francis’ call to integral ecology by committing ourselves to the seven-year journey of developing and implementing a Laudato Si’ Action Plan. As part of Catholic Sisters Week in March 2022, we shared a series of posts on our social media describing how care for all people and all creation has long been a part of our Franciscan mission.
