During her early years in the congregation, Sr. John Celeste Weitzel ministered in education but later studied to be a physical therapist. When she moved from Baltimore to the Aston area in November 2015, she came with a dream—to work with our sisters at Assisi House who were not getting PT for a specific problem.

St. Paul’s Family Counseling Center in Wilmington, Delaware, provides access to compassionate, culturally responsive emotional and behavioral health services that empower individuals and families. Corporate Social Responsibility involves monitoring the investment portfolio from a moral and ethical perspective and exercising our rights and responsibilities as shareholders to hold corporations accountable for their social and environmental policies and practices. Applicants for this ministry must have a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or some comparable degree or experience. Read more!
Red Hill Farm
Owned by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, Red Hill Farm is one of the sisters’ many environmental initiatives. Red Hill Farm is a six acre farm that provides food for its 120 members as well as for the Sisters of St. Francis. During the winter months (December-February) this position will work one day a week on the farm and the rest of the week at Assisi House, the retirement convent of the Sisters of St. Francis.
