Aston, PA — The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia will host their 13th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction on Monday, September 17, 2007 at The Springhaven Golf Club in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ministries of the Sisters of St. Francis.
Cost per person is $275 that includes greens fees, cart, lunch, cocktails, and dinner. Auction items will include get-away packages, in-home dinners prepared by a well-known local chef, sports tickets and memorabilia, and much, much more. Various prizes will also be awarded.
In addition, sponsorship opportunities are still available! All sponsors receive recognition on the day of the event and in promotional materials. Today, nearly 650 Sisters of St. Francis serve in a variety of ministries in a multitude of settings. Those ministries include education at all levels; health care; pastoral care, service to elderly persons; care of those who are homeless, poor, living with HIV/aids, immigrants, and refugees; and prayer and spiritual ministries. Although there is a large concentration of sisters in the Delaware Valley area, sisters live in twenty-five states as well as in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
