Aston, PA — On August 10, Sister Patricia Kerezsi renewed her vows in Our Lady of Angels Chapel in Aston. Gathered with her were approximately 100 members of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. Sister Patricia explained that it is precisely this type of support that helps her to feel “at home” in the congregation. “These are individuals who choose to live a life committed to God and to be of service to God’s people,” she explained.

A native of Aston, Pennsylvania, Sister Patricia is the daughter of Louis (deceased) and Patricia Kerezsi. A graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, Sister Patricia earned a B.S. in Education from West Chester University and an M.S. in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Neumann College in Aston. Prior to her entrance into the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, Sister Patricia taught at St. Francis DeSales School in Lenni. More recently, she has ministered as a counselor at St. Joseph Family Center in Spokane, Washington.
