45 young women are expected to attend

·         Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia                            

·         Little Sisters of the Poor

WHERE: Franciscan Spiritual Center (located at Our Lady of Angels Convent, the

Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia), 609 S. Convent Rd, Aston, PA

The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia is a congregation of almost 700 women religious founded in 1855. Although the congregation’s motherhouse is located in Aston, PA, sisters live and minister in more than 25 states in the US and throughout the world. Their ministries include education at all levels; health care; pastoral care; service to the elderly; care of those who are homeless, poor, or living with HIV/AIDS, immigrants, and refugees; and prayer and spiritual ministries.
