How Community Supported Agriculture Works
- Members purchase, in advance, a share of the season’s harvest (supports the costs of running the entire farm for a year).
- Once a week, from May to November, members visit the farm to pick up their portion of that week’s fresh organic produce, picked hours before.
- Members have the opportunity to pick-their-own additional items (e.g., fresh berries, flowers, herbs).
Remember: the whims of nature often change the best laid plans! You need to be willing to accept what we can produce and what nature provides. If there is too much for your use, preserve it, pass along to friends, or put in an overflow table for distribution to others.
