From the rolling hills of County Tipperary to the mountains of Guatemala and finally to the quiet halls of Assisi House, Sr. Mary’s life has been one of steadfast faith and generous love. What began as a quiet stirring in her heart as a young girl in Ireland grew into a lifelong vocation that carried her across oceans and cultures in service to others.
Along the way, Sr. Mary has taught and led in classrooms, served among the poor and persecuted, cared tenderly for her parents, and accompanied countless others in faith. Today, as part of the Franciscan Care Team at Assisi House, she continues to embody the gentle strength and compassion that have defined her journey.
