Spiritual Direction Program Manager

Position Overview:
The Spiritual Direction Program Manager (SDPM) will provide spiritual direction and program facilitation on behalf of the FSC – East (Aston, PA), cultivating its culture of “welcoming all as sister and brother” and integrating our Franciscan mission values and vision into programming and spiritual direction. The SDPM will build and oversee the renewed spiritual direction program of the FSC – East while serving as a spiritual director for individuals and groups.  The SDPM will also facilitate some FSC East programs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate in a caring and empathetic manner

  • Able to serve as a mentor and team player in a collaborative style

Certified Nursing Assistants, Assisi House, FT, PT, & Occasional

Description:

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)– Several full-time and part-time and occasional positions available for evening and night shifts (rotating weekends and holidays). Flexible scheduling available.

  • The CNA is responsible for helping with the activities of daily living, such as:

    • Transporting/moving residents
    • Gathering medical supplies
    • Bathing residents
    • Grooming residents
    • Setting up meals or feeding residents
    • Checking vital signs
    • Assisting residents with requests

Requirements:

  • CNA certification with current PA license.

  • Experience in long-term care a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate in a caring and empathetic manner

  • Able to serve as a mentor and team player in a collaborative style

Volunteer Opportunities, Red Hill Farm, Aston, PA

Description:

  • Red Hill Farm is seeking volunteers to work on the farm
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to planting, watering, weeding, setting-up irrigation, harvesting, and pest control.

  • Willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

  • CURRENT NEED – Assisting in mealtimes in our advanced care/dementia unit for approximately one hour (7:30 A.M., 11:30 A.M. and/or 4:30 P.M.)
