Description:
Nursing Assistants– Several full-time and part-time and occasional positions available for evening and night shifts (rotating weekends and holidays). Flexible scheduling available.
We have Nursing Assistant positions for those certified OR with previous home health care or personal care assistant experience. The nursing assistant is responsible for providing assisting the residents with the activities of daily living, such as:
- Transporting/moving residents
- Gathering medical supplies
- Bathing residents
- Grooming residents
- Setting up meals or feeding residents
- Checking vital signs
- Assisting residents with requests
Requirements:
Certification as an CNA or experience in the retirement home setting or as a home health aide or personal care assistant.

Environmental Services Aide/Housekeeping
Description:
Full-time, Part-time, and Occasional positions available.
Performs the daily cleaning tasks of residents’ rooms and public, clinical, and administrative areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
Assists with cleaning of residents’ rooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens, furniture and medical equipment.
Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors/carpeting, and strips and finishes floors when needed.
Handles trash removal and the transport of infectious waste, sharps, and needle boxes as well as soiled linens and laundry.
Cleans windows, baseboards, and fixtures; moves equipment or furniture; maintains cleaning equipment; stocks areas and carts with materials and supplies; and cleans out refrigerators.
Requirements:
At least two years of professional environmental services experience, with an minimum of six months of experience in floor/carpet care and cleaning.
Previous experience with power and manual equipment, ladders, and wet and dry vacuums.
Experience in the health care industry or other service-related field requiring a high level of customer contact experience.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; to tolerate long periods of standing, walling pushing, bending, and reaching; to perform repetitive cleaning teaks throughout the day; and to handle unpleasant odors and work with chemical cleaning products.

Dietary Aides
Description:
One full-time day shift position and several part-time positions to work the evening shift (3:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.) 2-3 nights per week, every other weekend, and several holidays.
Assists with basic food production, assembly, and set-up.
Provides wait services to the residents; clears the tables.
Shares in the responsibility of washing cooking equipment, dishes, utensils, and glasses.
Organizes supplies and the maintains a well-stocked supply room.
Greets the residents and provides excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Experience in food services preferred, but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Committed to working scheduled hours
Ability to read detailed instructions/procedures and carry them out proficiently.
Ability to work independently and as team member.
Cooperates in assisting department members and takes initiative when needed.

Cooks FT/PT, Assisi House
Description:
Prepares meals on time and in accordance with planned menus and established safe procedures.
Prepares hot and cold food items that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
Consults production manager and/or the director and the production sheets for quantities of food to prepare.
Follows approved recipes in preparing food items. Makes only authorized substitutions.
Serves food according to proper portion control procedures.
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years of previous experience as a cook; experience in a healthcare setting a plus.
