Russian Tea Snowballs (or Crescents)
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, nuts, salt till dough holds together. Shape into balls or crescents. Place an inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 17 to 20 minutes or until set but not brown. Put powdered sugar in a bowl and roll cookies while still warm. Cool and roll again in powdered sugar.
