Ecological Education
In May 2021, Pope Francis announced the Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP), an urgent action initiative for the entire Catholic Church and all people of good will. The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia have made a public commitment to the LSAP and ecological conversion. The first-year plan focused the congregation on the LSAP goal of Ecological Education. During this Advent season, therefore, in addition to considering steps we can take to care for creation, we will look at a few of the reasons why these steps are vital for the Earth and for us all. Follow along with these daily action steps and read/print the individual weekly reflections to learn more.
